Pora Ora Update!!

Pora Ora have been very busy recently! We’ve been working on our Kickstarter project which we hope to live very soon. We would just like to thank all of those involved in helping us with the video and for all the fantastic and most importantly constructive feedback that we have had. We’re really excited and hope that we as a company have managed to truly show just how enthusiastic we really are about Pora Ora. We’ll post a link as soon as it goes live! Please tweet it, blog it, or chat about it as much as you can (a few pledges would be rather nice also!)

So what else have we been up to? Well our lovely animators have finished a Met Office video about climate change. They really put in the hours to make sure that the finished work was completed to a fantastically high standard. This meant long nights and a working May day bank holiday, but they got there in the end. We of course had a little Pora Ora Party to celebrate (any excuses!). They’ve now moved onto animating some new Pora Pals, which will be a very welcomed edition to Pora Ora.

We’ve also been working really hard on adding more content to Urba Roma, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by one of our biggest fans who has given it the ‘really cool’ stamp of approval, needless to say we’re pretty chuffed! We’re currently doing some work on our Egyptian themed world called Pharaoh Island, adding more content to our popular game Spellfire and making sure our daily puzzles continue to make a daily appearance and just adding lots of new content to our games.

Wait! There’s more. We’ve been developing an in-game television which we hope to be released in very soon. Not only will users be able to watch cartoons, but we see it as a great way for schools to share and upload videos. We definitely envisage a ‘Pora Ora’s Got Talent’ inter school competition!

Aside from the mini heat wave in London causing us all to develop an unhealthy mid afternoon frappuccino habit, we’re all very happy and upbeat. Hope you will join us for another update soon!
