A super exciting new role has been released into PoraOra – introducing the Watchdogs! Schools may have prefects, but PoraOra now has Watchdogs!
A Watchdog is a highly coveted status amongst PoraOra users, who get an automatic reputation boost, a rooble salary and a really cool uniform. To be selected as a Watchdog is a true honour as it shows that a player has demonstrated fantastic gaming skills, knowledge and also that they are a responsible and well respected character in PoraOra.
The role of Watchdog entails
- Helping other players and offering advice.
- Recommending other players who have set a great example of PoraOra conduct to be rewarded
- Telling admin if a player has been upsetting other users or breaking the rules.
- Offering PoraOra gaming feedback and ideas from themselves and other players
We see this new role as a perfect way of giving selected users more responsibility. We love getting ideas from the kids, who’s imaginations are limitless. We see this as a way of ensuring that PoraOra stays focused on the children for the whom the game was made for.
The community management team already get lots of messages from PoraOra users offering ideas, asking for help or just letting us know how much fun they are having. We see this new role as highly motivational to other users and as a suitable reward to players who have gone above and beyond what has been expected of them.
